I just wanted to say hey to everybody
and mention that I'm extremely pleased to have joined the league to take over the Tribe. Hopefully
2004 will see the Tribe have a winning season. We'll have to see about that. The off-season could be key.
Can't wait to wheel and deal, that's the fun part.
As for me: I'm turning 30 in October, single w/ no kids, serious girlfriend with plans to marry next
summer though not official yet. Love sports, especially baseball. Favorite team: Yankees. Have been
participating in fantasy/rotisserie baseball since high school but this is my first head-to-head computer league.
I did play in a league which looking back probably was run using the DMB engine. I had joined a league that had
an ad in the back of an issue of Baseball Weekly, Planet Sports I think was the company. Made the playoffs but
lost in the LCS though I have no idea how with the team I had. Loved playing Strat-o-matic and Pursue the Pennant
when I was in high school and one of the first things I got when I purchased my computer was DMB, which was
maybe 6 months ago or so. Nothing beats it.
Anyway gents, thanks for allowing me to join the league. Hopefully, I won't disappoint. I have some work to do to
be able to protect some players who I think are key to a successful 2004 due to some possible usage issues, and a
little benching or two might light a fire under these guys. Where's Rick Vaughn and Willie Mays Hayes when the
